Action: Controller Grapple Option
Focus Power: Difficult (–10) Opposed Willpower Test
Description: Focussing himself, the mnemosurgeon is able to fully extend his mind into the will of another. He gains full command over his victim’s mind, allowing him to see into the victim’s mind and even alter it. After gaining control in a grapple the mnemosurgeon chooses this option and makes a focus power test, the target opposes this power with a Willpower Test. If the target fails to resist the power, it is controlled by the mnemosurgeon. For the duration of the power, the mnemosurgeon must devote his full action to one of the following options. Read a past memory Challenging (+0) Opposed Willpower Test. Alter a past memory Difficult (-10) Opposed Willpower Test. Implant a trigger word and describe the intended reaction Hard (-20) Opposed Willpower Test. Alter a personality trait Very Hard (-30) Opposed Willpower Test. If at any point the mnemosurgeon would attempt to implant a suggestion or alter a personality trait, the target may attempt a Challenging (+0) Opposed Willpower Test to try and break free of the power. Additionally, the power breaks as soon as the target is removed from the grapple or if the mnemosurgeon elects to end it. If the power is broken by anything other than the mnemosurgeon and the target has total Wounds greater than 3 times the mnemosurgeon’s Psy Rating, then the mnemosurgeon must make a Challenging (+0) Willpower Test or suffer WP damage equal to the difference.
